Pledge: Paint frantically to complete as much as possible before the end of the month tomorrow and then report that to the Hobby Pledge topic. Then at a more sedate pace resume work on the Regiments of Renown
Answer: Whilst a Weekender video or two are lovely I have coped without. There seem to be plenty of things I can do instead. I think the question is more driving at a general issue with disruption to routines. I am fortunate in that I can impose as much or little structure on my days as I like. As it happens I like quite a lot of structure. Possibly that’s just me but it was definitely reinforced by spending 25 years as an educator where every 50 minutes to an hour you have to stop and then start something else. In some settings a bell literally rang to tell you to do it. I still have a cup of tea and toilet break at 10:30 which used to be the first breaktime/recess in the day. I guess I have been trained in true Pavlovian style to get used to an environment with lots of structure 😀
Should I forget what time it is the dog usually comes to remind me. She’s a big fan of predictable structure to her day too.
Head all wrong! UGH!
@sundancer it is an irony of our hobby that we often can’t do it because our head isn’t in the right place, yet doing hobby is what helps us get our head in the right place.
