so I know nothing about hordes and the background so sorry for that , but I am not sure if I am ok with trolls that are smart enough to use blackpowder-weapons and that wear clothes … :-/ but that is just a matter of personal taste.

Thats because they are smart in the world of Warmachine and Hordes. The best way to look at them is a cross between native americans, kelts and druids that where primitive in what they have but are in no ways dumb in brains. When they started to trade with human allies they learned it quick and some even entered human military service as officers.

So no they are not the troll under the bridge type troll of common fantasy. I hope this helps you with why they look so advance compared to most fantasy trolls.

thanks for clarification! ^^ but I think I am simply more in favor of the normal trolls that like to hit and smash things and eat them ^^…no-brainers if you will, I like my trolls to be rough and tough pure raging berserker`s ^^

but than again the models are of good quality so nothing to criticize here ^^

I should mention that what I was talking about brains that goes for the human sized trolls, the bigger the dumber they are as they become the war beasts for the Trollblood army. So yes you do get the pure raging berserker type as well. So berserk that they will attack friendly models if they go out of hand.
