Lucid Eye Release Rome’s Generals & Sea Peoples Foes
June 26, 2026 by brennon
Lucid Eye has been expanding their ROME range with even more 28mm metal miniatures for you to use as part of your Historical wargames. Rome is, unsprisingly, a big focus for the range but you'll also find some of Rome's enemies and mercenary forces within the range as well.
Republican General // Lucid Eye
We start with a Republican General, sword held aloft and cloak flowing out to his side, perhaps as he stands atop a rise, watching down on the unfolding battle around him. As well as the Republican General on foot, you can also get a mounted version of the character.
Republican General Mounted // Lucid Eye
This fellow matches the character on foot and could be used to represent your Republican Roman General charging into the heart of the action alongside his companion cavalry. Maybe he's also rushing from one point to another, making sure that he has a good idea of how the battle is unfolding.
The Sherden
As well as the Romans, you can also get some great miniatures representing some of the other forces fighting during this period. One such people are the Sherden, who were a warrior culture that was part of the Sea Peoples culture.
Sherden I // Lucid Eye
Sherden II // Lucid Eye
They were prevalent throughout the Eastern Mediterranean and were known as fierce mercenaries that could perhaps have fought alongside the Romans at times or against them, supporting another army. For example, they served as mercenaries and bodyguards for the Pharaoh Ramesses II.
Mythological Myrmidons
If you're looking to go down the mythological route, then you could also pick up a second pack of Myrmidons.
Myrmidons II // Lucid Eye
A lot of folks will know the Myrmidons as the warriors who fought alongside Achilles. This fits nicely with them being loyal retainers and companions, fighting alongside a major character from whatever tale you're telling on the tabletop.
This is just a small snapshot of the wonderful metal range from Lucid Eye, which covers ROME and a lot more besides. You should go and check out more of the 28mm miniatures as they'd be excellent for skirmish games in particular.
Will you be checking these out?
