James Morris has added another new supplement to the mix for those playing the ace wagame, Midgard Heroic Battles. The Iron Valley is a new Goblet Size Campaign for those diving into the game with two Fantasy forces.

The Iron Valley - Midgard Heroic Battles

The Iron Valley // Midgard Heroic Battles

Here's some of the background behind The Iron Valley...

"In the 265th year of the reign of King Brodir Longbeard, the Orc raiders under the leadership of Azgoth Hornchewer came into the Iron Valley. Boldly ignoring the wishes of his father, Hochprinz Alaric and his siblings led the warriors of Schloss Eisenberg and the surrounding settlements into battle. Time proved him correct, though the losses were great."

The Iron Valley makes use of the campaign system present in Chronicles of Midgard. Rather than delving into a Historical clash, The Iron Valley dives into a thirty-five-page classic Fantasy clash between Orcs and Dwarves as they fight for control of the eponymous valley.

Within its pages, you'll find background, maps, five new scenarios, plus Muster Rolls for the forces of the Orcs and the Dwarves. You will also find ways to play The Iron Valley as a linear or map-based campaign.

You are going to need a copy of Midgard Heroic Battles and Chronicles of Midgard to make use of this but perhaps this could be a good excuse to start building a great new Dwarf or Orc army with a friend?

Could you be tempted by The Iron Valley?
