I’m a fan of blast (and template) weapons in general, the more I can dish out the better. If you have enough of them you can cause serious damage but you do need to focus fire or have a really big gun. Plasma Cannons FTW 🙂
Blasts are a blast. That’s pretty much it, the only thing to watch out for is when someone has “misread” the rules and starts trying to say they can take up to his BS off the scatter to try and clip one or two more models.
Also remember, dice are fickle things. once I had the misfortune to play another IG player who’d brought along a deathstrike and he rolled a 6 on turn two then he fired it at the furthest unit back trying to get the rear armour of my lemans. He rolled a 12 for scatter, with the arrow pointing at the table edge. 160 points of nothin’.
Every time you say Arrow I hear ARO. Talk about system overlap.
Just want to point out in a friendly manner 🙂 Only barrage or Ordnance Barrage weapons scatter 3D6. Standard blast weapons like the missile launcher Darrell was referring to just roll 2D6 as standard in Night Fight
Fuck.. that nokia add before the video nearly made my ears bleed!!!!!!!
Hmm, I got a Vauxhall Warrenty advert
Lucky you skip, I keep getting ads about tampons and indigestion. I AM NOT A WOMAN! 🙂
In all seriousness though I’m not their target audience, seems like a waste of advertisers money.
Thats odd, I keep getting an advert saying if I rub this oil on a member of mine it will add 3 inches. I don’t know should I buy into it?
Two Words:
Mozilla
Adblock
The days of online advertising (save for the ones in the video content, ie: the Wayland one) are Over! There is also Adblock for Chrome if you are one of those mooks. If you are using IE, Please, Save Yourself before it’s too late!
Anything that can create a huge crater with its weapon has got to be good.
I agree with you !!
