I believe Warlocks are part of their own battle group, just re-read over the battle group explanation. “A warlock and his assigned warbeasts are collectively referred to as a Battlegroup.”, so Guided Fire would give him boosted ranged attacks as well, yes?
Yes… the Warlock/Warcaster is always part of their own battlegroup. So yes, he boosts his own attack roll too.
The problem comes when you add things like Troll Sluggers, who would be amazing if you could boost their ranged attacks with Guided Fire… unfortunately you can’t.

Was curious because you kept saying in the video that the Warbeasts got the boost and never mentioned the Warlock. Wanted to clarify the rules for myself, since I’m sure later today ill be fighting him.

Great video, full of passion obviously… Makes one want to paint and field that big hunk of a troll !
Such a fantastic miniature! I am still painting the troll battlebox, but I might pick him up later. He is not a top tier caster (for Troll, it’s more eMadrak, Calandra and Grim) but still, he must be pretty fun to play with a bomber and a couple of impalers.
I like this troll, he’s the sign to all other trolls living a cygnarian way of life to join their kind and be proud of the own history and fight for it and the way of the trollkin. The cygnarian toy he got with him is very impressive and fits the trolls, who since the first book used cygnarian equipment to their own advantage.
