Very nice sculpt, I was wondering if it will be the time to paint minis with all the magnets to create different poses…
I personally do not like it, but started with vehicles, and I see a lot of armoured suits, robots and such with magnectic.
This is an organic mini (if I can call it this way…) so I ´m thinking if this thing will apply to it.
Nice Unboxing Romain. Always had a bit of a soft spot for Circle.
I know your going to be building this model. But will we be seeing a 3 colours up session based on it?
There won’t be a 3 Colours Up painting for Ghetorix yet… we rushed this video out as the model just arrived and we thought you guys would want to see it.
However, Romain has built the model and filmed the process, so starting today you’ll get to see him clean the model up ready to start the build… he’s got lots of good tips on how you go about preparing a composite model.
Thanks ! I love the Circle as well… The “Evil Druid” trope isn’t nearly used as often as it should be in games, and I’ve always had a thing for big hairy… wolves.
BoW Romain
Sure you could apply it, but for me I dont think I would have the patience or skill to do it. On a model like this I’d say alot of work would be required to tet it to look right.
Love these unboxing videos though. Hope BOW keeps throwing them out
Hmmm little bit of green stuff for rodent like chisel inscissors, a few curly horns on the head. I’m thinking greater deamon of the horned rat
That feral is a vast improvement over the metal model, but I do like the cool pose of the metal pureblood better. The stalker looks very similar to the metal version. Pity we didn’t get to see Ghetorix assembled.
I think this type of plastic lends itself better to organic shapes than the usual styrene since undercuts are so important to the rounded muscles.
@dais … don’t worry… the model was assembled and the build videos start today! 🙂
Well there will be no critical snipet here…
The privateer Press plastic models are fantastic I picked up a box of fennblades in plastic and the detail is amazing. If you guys want to really get a solid look at them go to local game store and crack a box to see. I think the video takes away from it a bit.
I’m very impressed with how they’ve made this kit. I might have to get the new plastic starter kit as it has one of them in it.
*points* See? He’s… growling.
Romain, you crack me up! I hope they got you to do a ton of unboxing vids when you were there! 😀
Romain is great at unboxing videos, but he’s even better at painting. He’s currently chained to a painting table with a brush glued to his hand.
We decided to roll this video out pretty quickly as we though you would want to see the new Warp Wolf model, that’s why the set is actually the painting/3 Colours Up set up.
Figured as much. My friend has already gotten underway with magnetizing plans after watching this vid, so good on you guys!
PS Turn 8=I miss it 🙁
Those are amazing kits.
