You’ve made him bend over too much… But it’s all right, he doesn’t look bad that way !
I think this version and the so-called Epic one are both quite nice in different ways.
Otherwise, great video and great character. I love the feat, and he works well with the gun mages… He’s just that cool !
Of course I forgot to mention that he boost the range of his spells by 5″ if the spell originates from the Caine and not an Arc Node… but I mention it in the epic version unboxing.
Really love playing with pCaine. The key to doing well with pCaine is that he is a support caster (deadeye and snipe really help other ranged units, thunderstrike for clearing charge lanes, as well as his feat for clearing infantry). pCaine can assasinate casters and ‘jacks, but he’s better off opening up your opponent to a hard strike from some other element of your army. (Heavy Jack, Stormblades etc, something that hits REALLY hard). Anyway thats how i get the most out of him. Solid ranged core to the army, and something really ‘hitty’ as a second wave.
Get the epic version. He has infinite rate of fire and his feat is ridiculous. Make sure you take gun mages, a journeyman warcaster, and non-focus hungry jacks like hunters. Be selfish and keep all your focus on epic caine and he’s a monster on the tabletop. Really fun fig. Great video though. As always thanks Andy.
Thinking of starting this game, love that you give some personal opinions on the guys. Saves me a lot of “get to know every caster and what all their stuff does before buying one, and then find out I want another type of caster”. Just reading the stats doesn’t say anything to anyone who doesn’t already play the game, and they can just find it anywar so keep up the personal thoughts!
I play Caine almost every time I play Warmachine. I agree, he’s not particularly competitive, but he sure is fun. To me, he’s Warhmachine’s version of Roland from Stephen King’s “The Dark Tower” novels.
Epic Caine is reputed to be more competitive but requires far more finesse to use his Feat. I am still a beginner so I usually stick to pCaine.

I’m a big fan of eCaine so I’m looking forwards to that one

When you play him your dice roll better when you say “Pew pew pew.”
