I was able to get 2, and my local store still has 2 of the 15 they received initially. I can get ya their contact info an I am sure they could ship it to you. I have one put up for now.
I think its been harder to get hold of the limited edition ones due to the fact it was out a fortnight before the standard edition as well as bits sites buying in as many of them as they could.
It’s a nice model, but some folks are asking £30 or more on Ebay at the moment, which seems a bit much considering the price difference between the limited and standard editions. Personally I’d get an old Asmodai and lop its power sword off to make way for an assault squad plasma pistol if I really wanted a unique model to represent a dark angels chaplain with a plasma pistol, but to each their own.
Pretty sure defiling Asmodai’s model is heresy.
Its only heresy if they catch you, up until then its just fun. 😀
@cazboab report back to the Rock
Originally I was thinking waiting for standard edition as I don’t really care about that chaplain but since I was unpatient I ended up buying this limited edition instead.
I really like unboxings, but why bother now? It’s kinda too later for the Limited Edition one.
I do not get it on many levels.
Why make a limited edition model plastic, isn’t this counter to the allegedly high costs of making the mold?
How can they ensure it will remain limited with a mold virtually indestructible?
If making a plastic mold is cheap enough to do the above for the really limited quantities the LE was sold, why do they bother with finecast anyway?
I can’t believe darrell never managed to get one! They are still being advertised on GW Australia’s website! I’m tempted to buy a second except they are the world’s most expensive set at 210 NZD.
dont know how you couldnt get a copy off the limited one as gw belfast still had loads of them and you can still order it from there webstore i just got the normal one as it was less than £50 online including delivery as £15extra just for the chaplin is stupid
