About the Project
Turns out i may be a hobby butterfly freshly hatched from my chrysalis of denial. This challenge started with the intention of completing a project i started many years ago when i purchased advanced space crusade. Turns out i am now massively into rebasing my epic collection on washers so they dont slide around everywhere im not sure where my hobby time will take me next. I have recently noticed that when i start a project with enthusiasm i take my time and enjoy what i am doing but then when a new shiny catches my eye i rush through the project to try to get it done as fast as possible so i can start the next thing. So i think the project will now be reduce the pile of shame but in my own time and pace, i can always go back to a project when the enthusiasm returns which it always does.

Dungeon crawling cat
This is Grogu in her best dungeon crawling capAs the cat likes to get on the table when we are gaming thought it was time she had her own mini so she can join in.
I know ai is loved and hated by people but i thought it could be a cool tool to waist an afternoon messing around with.
I uploaded this picture to chat gpt and asked for a set of profile images and it made this.
It created this for meNext i uploaded the picture to meshi ai to create a 3d stl
It came back with this, turns out meshi ai 6 is not free to download so i screen shot it and uploaded it into meshi v5 which is free to down loadThen i uploaded the obj file to mesh mixer to split the heads in to single images then exported one as an stl which i sized up in chitubox for printing.
Once it was printed i found a suitably heroic body in the bitz box and Bam Grogu is ready to rock.
Was trying to decide if she should have a sword or an axe when this flail turned up and knowing she loves string and things moving about on the end of it, rekon it would be her perfect weapon of choice.
Also did the same process with my head so i can be a space marine. Bam its been fun messing about with ai for a few days 
Splashed on some speed paints and Grogu bum cat is ready to adventure

The marine head came out pretty well, i kind of messed up the supports so it had some cracks rather than start again i stuffed it with green stuff and left the cracks as woundsBam Weirdboy Warphead and mad boy friends
I like to imagine the orks watching cant work out how the puppet moves as the puppeteer ork has painted himself purple
Always been a huge fan of this picture in the old ork freebooterz book. I had the warphead but could not ger my madboyz to look like a traveling circus. Never fear these green chaps are perfect from meridien miniaturesHuzzah squats
Thought they could do with some weapon teams, when i think of squats mole morters always come to mind. But i dont have any, never fear a rummage in the bits box of doom came up with some old plastic guard morters and some other odds and ends allowing me to make these.

Thought they may need a land train to use as a counts as rogal dorn so ordered up this big ol lump of resin from ramshackle miniatures.
Tried to give it an old epic land train vibe by adding dwarf shields and knot work markings
Been painting up some squats to use as cadiens in 11th edition when it drops.Orlock gang of Doom
Decided to call the gang the “lone” Rangers, led into fights by the gang leader Clint the man with no name.
These new plastic sculpts are great to paint full of details for the speed paints to pick out.
They have been in the pile of shame for ages but was able to get them painted up in a few evenings, speed paints rule.
Had some fun painting these chaps up. Pratorian rough riders on killer doom chickens
Rough riders are always great units for coversions. I had some spare moubts from the oalbound studios coral knights. The dudes legs are from the kislev horse archers and the body is from anvil industries. The arms are from the death korps death riders and engineer sprue.Pratorian ratlings squad, gaunts ghosts proxy
Thought it would be cool to add a gaunts ghosts unit to my pratorian guard.
Had some wargames atlantic sneak feet and a full bits box so thought i would make a ratlings ghost unit, with a bit of a nod to a time traveling richard sharpe.
The plan is to recreate these with bits and bobs
The capes are a mix of anvil industry capes and some wargames atlantic capes from the knights kit.
Sharpes body is a hussar torso from anvil industrys regiments with a spare head from the richard sharpe kit.
Harpers mr knock volly gun was a sneak feet carbine with the barrel replaced with a gun from an epic knight kit.
Stompy Mork or is it Gork
Thought my pirate chaps needed something stompy to stuff with loot.Managed to snag this kit for a good price on ebay, gonna pirate it up with addition of ships cannons and a large hook hand made using a polystyrene ball for tte wrist joint and an old screw in key hook for the hand.
Last but not least strapped some chests and crates to its back to store the gubbinz and loot
