Airbrushing the squadron..
2nd tank squadron progress! I thought I’d include a little note about the paints used – least the airbrush ones at this stage!
Over a black undercoat (except for those that had had random army green sprays) the camo areas were based with army painter militia green and iron wolf, with a lightening on the green with a little drab green on the upper surfaces (thinly done) and a wolf grey coat on the blue grey areas – just staying clear of the areas the two colours met with this to try and darken the transition.
The metallics were then given a coat of rough iron – the overspray gets covered very well by the washes yet to come. I did dust the commissar with white to re undercoat him.
That’s the airbrush step over!
