WIP Update
I haven’t done much hobby as I foolishly reactivated my Eve Online account.
On a positive note I finally found a shade of brown I like for wooden stuff: Brigandine brown.
Carry Me Home
I started to add colours, working at the bases noone looks at the miniatures anyway – so don’t sweat the set dressing. Basic colour, a bit of contrast or a wash and bosh, done .
I never seem to find a wood tone I like and I always seem to spoil everything with dry brushing. I might skip it altogether.
I might go back and add a satin varnish to the fish and metal components on the chests
Turn The Lights On
I have amassed a lot of accessories and set dressing and finally decided to tackle some dually motivated by wanting to play Guards of Traitors Toll and Pillage at some point .
I decided lolly sticks and rulers would be the best approach
I hit pretty much everything with Trench brown from Colour Forge.I then used a limited palette of colours, trying to make items that would work for various historical periods.
