Ana Polanšćak of Gardens of Hecate has sculpted some more miniatures which add to their Sci-Fi Nekroplanet Grob collection. These two miniatures join a host of other Tomb Raiders that are looking to plunder Grob and avoid the clutches of the Grobniks!

The Juggernaut - Gardens of Hecate

The Juggernaut // Gardens of Hecate

The tomb raiders need some support and that comes in the form of The Juggernaut that you see above. It is heavily armed and armoured, coming with a powerful gun mounted on one side and a crushing fist on the other.

The miniatures, cast by Ramshackle Games, come in high-quality polyurethane resin and would fit very nicely into a range of 28mm and 32mm scale wargames in your collection. I love the polished black visors that all of the Raiders have in the painted examples; it gives them a very eerie look and makes you wonder what is inside or behind the helmet. Maybe their helmets are actually made of black glass as it absorbs the strange energies of the planets they visit and shields them from the worst mind-changing weirdness?

As well as the Juggernaut, watching over the Raiders as they do their plundering, there is also The Scientist, who is doing the most important work. They can research what's worth pilfering from the depths of some forgotten tomb.

The Scientist comes with their scanner and two floating devices that are most likely taking in the surrounding area. I can already see their lights flickering over the surface of alien walls, covered in various ancient languages.

Both of the miniatures also come with the added gribbly bits that you can see on the sprues. These are superb for using as basing material on your miniatures or for creating all sorts of odd scatter terrain to use on your tabletops. These two miniatures are also just two of the larger Nekroplanet Grob collection, more of which you can see below.

You can get your hands on loads of the Raiders on the Ramshackle Games website. Make sure to check out more of the miniatures for yourself and "collect them all" as it says above! I think you could do some absolutely fascinating paint schemes on these miniatures, especially if you played around with some lurid colours for some of their survival suits.

What do you make of these miniatures?
