Wargame Exclusive has now added WildMesh's awesome 32mm scale sculpts to their collection for those wanting to dive into the Grimdark world of Trench Crusade. Terrifying demons and heavily armoured knights stomp across the muddy battlefields of this ruined world.

Crusade - Devourer of Sins // Wargame Exclusive

There are some excellent miniatures for you to choose from, which could be used as optional versions of the characters, troops and monsters within the world of Trench Crusade. These would also be great for all sorts of brutal Indie Grimdark wargames that you might have in your collection.

The Devourer of Sins is very much the epitome of the range by WildMesh. I love the hulking brute, the mash of different pieces of metal that have come together to form his armour and the collection of skulls swinging from his waist. I also like that he has a take on the "crown of thorns" on his helmet.

Grim Knights

If you're looking for more Knights, then you could also throw your lot in with the Knight of Sickness, who stalks the battlefield.

Crusade - Knight of Sickness // Wargame Exclusive

When the battle is over, the bodies remain where they are and disease festers within their corpses. That is where sickness breeds and then starts to creep its way across the muddy trenches. I could see this Knight of Sickness as a herald of that sickness. Perhaps he was a knight who got infected but somehow was able to beat it and has now become its messenger. You'd better start running.

A more "valiant" Knight is also on the way from WildMesh with the Knight of Crusades.

You could imagine the Knight of Crusades being the poster boy for some valiant force that is going out to stop the forces of Hell. I like to think that the arms and armour that you see here are worn by different people. The person inside doesn't matter and the silhouette of this hero is all that really matters. You could work some noticeable bullet holes into the armour to show where the previous hero has been on the brink of death but never truly died. The body is then dragged off behind a building and burned.

Battlefield Reapers

In addition to the characters, you can also get some new troops in the form of the Tank Reapers.

This set comes with a trio of Tank Reapers who do what they say on the tin: blow up tanks. There are a trio of different sets for you to choose from with the Tank Reapers, which come with slightly different options and accessories. You've got a pair of fellows to cover the poor chap who has to throw the explosives at the enemy.

If you're interested in diving into more of the WildMesh collection, you can find more here on the Wargame Exclusive webstore.

Could these find a way into your Trench Crusade collection?
