New Shamans & Swordsmen Come To TTCombat Combat’s Carnevale

The canals of Venice get that little bit more vicious with the addition of two new miniatures to TTCombat's Carnevale collection. We have something monstrous and magical going up against a swaggering swordsman.

The Brine Shaman // Carnevale

We lead with The Brine Shaman for tabletop players of the Rashaar. Dragged from the mutated mass that is the Ugdru Rashaar, the Brine Shaman still clings to a small degree of magical power that can enhance it on the streets of Venice when pushed to battle.

Adorned with bone talismans and scrimshaw tokens, it can use these for magical abilities but also keeps them as grim trophies. The seaweed atop its head is also some mockery of a headdress, speaking to its higher calling. Despite this glimmer of intelligence, the Brine Shaman is still a monstrous creature to behold that would just as soon rip your arms off or eat you whole as cast a spell at you. Mother Hydra will be pleased with this offering!

The Wrath of the Vatican

If you're looking for a fearsome hunter of the damned to unleash on your games of Carnevale, then look no further than the Vatican's Vagaan Dru.

Vagaan Dru is a strigoi (vampire) hunter. The strigoi were the ones who murdered his parents and in that moment, Dru swore vengeance. He joined other vampire hunters and has now mastered his trade. Carrying a hallowed blade that hums with divine energy, he has purged the strigoi from his homeland and the Pope has now seen fit to unleash his finest killer on the strigoi that now infest the streets and canals of Venice.

I love the addition of the different sigils and symbols marked on Dru's skin alongside the addition of the various trappings of religion that swing from his clothes. He somewhat puts the likes of Van Helsing to shame! The glow emanating from his sword and the swing of his sword before him are also great and should be fun to play with for those who like adding object source lighting to their miniatures.
