Even More Characters Join The Silver Bayonet’s Venetian Adventure
October 7, 2026 by brennon
North Star Military Figures has added some excellent characters to their range for those diving into The Silver Bayonet and the Venetian adventures taking place in The Alchemist's Legacy. These are more of the miniatures sculpted by Mace Face Miniatures for the collection.
Count Monterosso & Thralls // The Silver Bayonet
Count Monterosso is a strange individual who recently arrived in Venice with a small entourage in tow. He set himself up in a mansion in the city and held a grand ball and many of the higher echelons of society were invited. Rumours abound that he is never seen during the day and a foul odour hangs around his person. No one has ever seen beneath his mask and there are mutterings that those who visit his mansion are never seen again. I think you might need to prepare the garlic.
He is flanked by two of his Thrall Guards who watch over their Vampire Lord. They gain some of the benefits of being in thrall by blood to their master but if you can overpower them, you might be able to strike at the Count himself.
Shambling through the streets of Venice, you also have these Homunculi.
Homunculus // The Silver Bayonet
Dark alchemy has brought these figures to life, creating artificial beings that stand the height of a man or sometimes even taller. They are a far cry from the tiny homunculi that many are familiar with. They also come with enhanced strength, making them a fearsome foe for you to overcome if they ever get the drop on you. I hear that Dr Frankenstein is very interested in your work...
Another towering killer that roams through the streets is that of the Canal Lane Slasher.
Canal Lane Slasher // The Silver Bayonet
Taller and broader than a normal man and covered in hideous burns, this figure stalks through the darkness seeking to cut down his victims with a twisted dagger and sharpened teeth. The Civic Guard have already lost two whole patrols trying to control the murderer and so it might be up to you and your hunters to deal with the supernatural threat that hunts the common folk of Venice.
More spooky goings-on are happening down by the docks with the appearance of the Wreckbound.
Wreckbound // The Silver Bayonet
These are the souls of sailors who have perished in the lagoons and high seas around Venice. They would love to leave their watery graves but every time they do, they are dragged back to their wrecks. They are doomed to watch over their shattered ships but perhaps you can free them from this eternal torment? Would that end up being helpful or would you unleash something more terrible?
All of these miniatures and more can be found over on The Silver Bayonet: Venice section of the North Star Military Figures website. Make sure to go and have a look. By all accounts, this newest expansion to the game is a corker.
What do you think?

I absolutely love the models, but why are they all wearing masks? Not only are masks not unique to Venice but people only wear them to balls during the Carnival.
The count is a vampire so he’s hiding his undeadness. I imagine the same goes for his rather corrupt-looking thralls
Well Canal Lane Slasher and the Wreckbound don’t wear masks. The homunculi have bandages. Only Count Monterosso & Thralls are wearing masks.
Go look at the Venetian warband. I think 8/8 are wearing masks.
It isn’t just these. The Venetian warband was the same
