Games Workshop revealed two more miniatures this week for their Fantasy Football game, Blood Bowl. Some classics of the game return, with this being especially good news for those who like playing Goblins during their games.

Ripper Bolgrot - Blood Bowl

Ripper Bolgrot // Blood Bowl

We start with Ripper Bolgrot, who was at one point regarded as particularly stupid, even by the measure of normal Stone Trolls. He was then sent off for some "sports therapy" and somehow came back with an improved level of intelligence. I smell shenanigans. Ripper has now read the manual and that means he's a dangerous threat for other Blood Bowl players and even the referee if they get a decision wrong.

One of his rules is Thinking Man's Troll, which allows you to re-roll dice once per half. A good way for you to avoid a slippery situation or a missed pass. He is a free agent, so that means that any team can hire him on if they've got the stones to do so!

A Right Loon!

The second of the characters coming your way is the madcap Fungus the Loon.

Fungus the Loon - Blood Bowl

Fungus the Loon // Blood Bowl

Like any other Fanatic of his kind, Fungus is essentially a lesson in chaos. Once he starts spinning, he won't stop until he smashes into the side of the pitch or gets clobbered by an angry opponent who wants to make the screaming stop. The miniature for Fungus is particularly awesome, especially with the poor Goblin stuffed inside one of the flails who is having a terrible time.

He might be a Whirling Dervish but he does have the ability to re-roll the d6 to decide which way he moves. I guess he has some semblance of control, even if it doesn't look like it.

Fungus would be an excellent fit for the upcoming Night Goblin Blood Bowl team that was previewed back during the Autumn reveal show by Games Workshop. Both miniatures look excellent and are another feather in the cap of the Blood Bowl design team.

What do you make of these new miniatures?
