Micro Art’s Pre-Painted 28mm Fantasy Terrain Range Expands
October 14, 2026 by brennon
Micro Art Studio has introduced some more pre-painted Fantasy terrain to their collection for your 28/32mm scale wargames. A couple of new buildings were recently added alongside a big bundle, which should have your Fantasy Town looking great very quickly.
Fantasy Forge Pre-Painted // Micro Art Studio
We start with an impressive and cosy-looking Forge, which is going to be integral to many Fantasy towns. Much like other terrain from Micro Art Studio, it comes as HDF, which has been pre-coloured/printed so that you just need to assemble it with PVA glue and you're good to go.

The design of these buildings is really impressive, offering plenty of depth and detail rather than just looking like a colourful box. I appreciate the set-in windows and the overhanging roof sections in particular. The printed design on these is also great and feels like it would suit something distinctly Fable-esque or perhaps a game like Guards of Traitor's Toll.
The second of the newer terrain pieces is for the Fantasy Tavern.
Fantasy Tavern Pre-Painted // Micro Art Studio
Every Fantasy town is also in need of a Tavern and you've got a lovely little one here. This looks like a great option for those seeking to set up a meeting place for their heroes or perhaps a neat place for your heroes to defend when the zombies come crawling towards you from the nearby graves.

Both of these new pieces of terrain can also be folded into the big new Fantasy Bundle from Micro Art Studio that also includes a bunch of other pre-painted pieces. This would be perfect for all manner of different skirmish games where you just need to pack out a 2x2 or 4x4 table. Add some trees and it'll be great.

The full bundle comes with Fantasy Cottages, a Noble's Abode, an Alchemist Lab, a Tavern, a Forge and then four sets of the Old Walls. A great option for someone looking to set up a sleepy village somewhere that is about to be overrun by the enemy! Are you going to be picking up some of this new pre-painted terrain yourself?

It really looks nice. 220€ for 6 Buildings and 10 ruined wall sections is, while not cheap, not too bad? Too much for my wallet but that’s my wallet for you.
This is a way-better deal than what GW is offering for nearly twice the price.
$240-ish, pre-painted, covers about the same amount of table space; if there’s a way to make the roofs removable, that’d make it extra versatile, though I’m sure they don’t have pre-painted interiors, so you’d have to do a little hobbying for that.
All in all, not too bad for a great-looking table set-up.
Still a lot of moneys. I can’t.
