Thanks for the unboxing guys. Sorry to ask I’m sure you guys got a buncha stuff to do, but do you think once you get situated you can do a review and some un-boxings for Dystopian Legions? I like a lot of the minis but I would like to see some reviews be for I invest in another game.
French heat lances make a mockery of larger ships. Rolling double the opposing model’s damage rating in dice just gets better the bigger the target is. Throw the Charlemagne dread with two of the things which can combine (not link) fire for a total of 4 times the DR of the opposing vessel and it just gets nasty. This assumes the dice roles are very much in your favour, of course.
Having said that, the 2 shield generators and torpedoes that never lose their effectiveness even when she’s almost dead in the water still make her a somewhat tough nut to crack at the best of times.
Forgot to add that you should be taking an escort squadron with the dread as it is rather sluggish in the water and you’ll want all the added protection you can get while you maneuver it into an optimal position.
