Rebellion Unplugged has announced a brand-new project that will be coming to Gamefound soon. Ride. Roar. Conquer with dinosaur-riding badasses in Dino Battle!

Dino Battle - Rebellion Unplugged

Dino Battle! // Rebellion Unplugged

Dino Battle has been designed by Stephen Baker (Heroscape, HeroQuest, Space Crusade), Roger Ford (Die Schlacht der Dinosaurier) and Anthony Howgego (Rush M.D) and features amazing illustrations from the impressive The Mico.

When you dive into this two-to-four player game that takes around an hour to play, you will command tribes of dinosaur riders as they fight to control arcane glyphs scattered across the landscape. You can then harness the power from mighty energy crystals to devastate your enemies and push yourself to feats of incredible speed and ferocity.

As Rebellion said, "trample enemies beneath your towering Brachiosaurus. Outflank and outnumber your opponents with your ruthless Velociraptors. Control sacred shrines with your powerful T-Rex and hunt your enemies to extinction".

The game comes with six unique dinosaur species that are brought to life using thirty miniatures, sculpted based on the artwork by The Mico. Gameplay is focused on a beer-and-pretzels style afair so you won't be taking anything particularly seriously when you're scrapping it out.

The game can also be expanded with the double-sided modular boards that open up all sorts of possibilities for your games, enhancing the replayability. I am already absolutely besotted with this. It is giving me Primal vibes, which is no bad thing and the art from The Mico elevates this to another level!

The gameplay already sounds bloody awesome and I like the fact that Rebellion are honing in on this being a fun game packed with "dino-riding and dice-chucking". Watch out for the Gamefound campaign that is coming soon and get in the mood for more dino-based action.

What do you make of Dino Battle! from what you've seen so far? Could this be another win from Rebellion Unplugged? They've done great work in the past on Sniper Elite and Joyride and I can see this being another tick in the right box!

Will you be diving into Dino Battle!?
