I have no knowledge of this game, so I’ll just say it looks kinda insane lol; will have to check out the previous vids now. 🙂
Early on @dracs made a comment about having nyctophobia; out of interest was that Sam the player, or Sam the character that has it? With what else is in the game it could be either. 😛
seems like warren grabbed his loin cloth, ran into the dark, screaming ‘leeroy jenkins!’ and was never seen again.
I vote for keeping Sam in the game for good. Lets have all four people, Sam, Chris, Justin, and Warren go on this campaign until the bitter end.
this makes me very happy. Been hoping for year 11 for ages
Celestial painting contest interview, infinity kurage crisis and now Kingdom Death Monster. you only went and brought your A game. with Celestial and Kingdom Death we have the most incredible art direction and miniatures in sci fi and fantasy respectively on show today, makes my heart sing. I love this game and i love this series, long may it continue. oh and seeing as i keep buying things with it on it kind of goes without saying, but i love Adam Poots.
@20 mins – what happened to the ambush?
@1:17 had Lilith used her once in a lifetime re-roll?
Great to see KD:M back 😀 . Try to make the breaks between filming a bit longer ( i appreciate you’re on fairly tight filming schedules ) because you guys looked particularly frazzled towards the end of filming Years 6-10 😉 😛 .
Does anyone know what the big board they use as a table topper could be? I’ve been looking for something thin the make my table that little bit bigger without resorting to mdf for ages.
It’s the mousepad mat version of the wooden floor game mat from Deep Cut Studio – http://www.deepcutstudio.com/product/wargames-terrain-mat-wooden-floor/ They do a PVC version too but I don’t know that it would take any weight if it’s bigger than your table.
Thank you so much! I should’ve joined the bests forum long ago as reddit has never had an answer for me.
@xaerin So I’m looking at the link and it says 2mm rubber foam backing. Is that all it is that is holding it up over the edges of your round table or is there something underneath the mat?
The table they played on isn’t round, they switched filming to the ” cage ” where OTT / BoW film their demo games and table-top Let’s Plays.
Ahh, gotcha, I commented on the wrong video. I haven’t had chance to watch year 11 yet. I was looking for info on the table topper from year 10 and earlier. Sorry for the confusion.
Ah, that one is a custom-made wooden board we’ve sanded and painted black.
Yay! More KD:M 🙂 As much as I adore Warren, I really liked seeing Sam in this setting. His knack for roleplaying suits the KD:M environment so so well. A huge thank you to Chris, for guiding us through all this.
