New Seraphon & More For Warhammer Age Of Sigmar Fans
September 22, 2026 by brennon
Games Workshop had even more previews for Warhammer Age of Sigmar fans at the end of last week. The core of their additional Mortal Realms support sits with the addition of a new miniature for the Seraphon and a new Battletome.
Blessed Tetaxi, Prophet of Tepok // Warhammer Age of Sigmar
Leading the way is Blessed Tetaxi, the Prophet of Tepok. Tetaxi has been "gifted" with visions of the future and the Great Fall looming on the horizon. He now hopes that he can use those visions to prevent this catastrophe from happening. He comes with a brand-new miniature where the Skink rides on the back of the towering and majestic Ma'toq.
Tetaxi uses the Stone of Tehemundi, which was gifted to him by Tepok. He can then use this to beam his visions into the minds of others, for good or ill. He has a glorious miniature and it's really nice to see another Skink character in the mix for those who prefer the scampering little fellows.
Talking of Skinks, you can also get a new Spearhead focused around these little fellows, handy if you're going to be starting with the Seraphon in Warhammer Age of Sigmar.
Claws of Tepok // Warhammer Age of Sigmar
Claws of Tepok is based around the Skinks looking to aid in the fulfilment of Tetaxi's plans. It comes with a Skink Starseer who could be an understudy to Tetaxi, plus twelve Skinks, three Terradon Riders and three Ridderdactyl Riders. This Spearhead is fast and can rely on Reinforcements in order to enact the plans of the Old Ones.
Other forces can also draw on a new Regiment of Renown for their games in the form of The Horns of Quetzl.
The Horns of Quetzl // Warhammer Age of Sigmar
The Horns of Quetzl introduces a Stegadon Chief and a Stegadon into the mix for both Order and, strangely, Destruction-aligned armies. If you're missing some heavy-hitting, monstrous power in your army, then maybe consider picking up The Horns of Quetzl.
Rules for all of this will be included as part of the new Battletome: Seraphon.
Order Battletome: Seraphon // Warhammer Age of Sigmar
The Battletomes come with all of the updated lore and rules for running your army in games of Warhammer Age of Sigmar. This will contain all of the ways that you can enact the will of the Old Ones and see the unfurling of the Great Plan. This is the last of the Battletomes (alongside the Khazalite Holds) to come out for the edition and you'll be ready to dive in and play as every army in 4th Edition.
Warhammer Quest - Agents of Azyr
As well as the new Battletome for Warhammer Age of Sigmar, we also have some news for Warhammer Quest: Darkwater. The Agents of the Order Azyr are coming to cleanse the Jade Abbey of corruption.
Safiya Ashcross // Warhammer Quest: Darkwater
Ignus Sharn // Warhammer Quest: Darkwater
These four heroes are looking to bring the light of Sigmar to the Jade Abbey and burn out Nurgle's rot. The lead figure is Safiya Ashcross, a witch hunter with a ruthless streak, even amongst her fellow witch hunters. She can both buff her allies and debuff her foes.
The second of the characters is the Bright Wizard Ignus Shard, who can inflict serious damage on the enemy but is also at risk of hurting both himself and his allies. Sounds just about right for a Bright Wizard.
The other two characters in the set are Brother Belias and Caul Durnan.
Brother Belias // Warhammer Quest: Darkwater
Caul Durnan // Warhammer Quest: Darkwater
Brother Belias is a battle-priest of the Sigmarite faith who can use his fervour to change his Defence and Hit characteristics in games. The last of the characters is Carl Durnan, a sharpshooter from the Wildercorps who can use their collection of customised and lethal bolts to take down different types of enemies.
All of these characters were originally available as part of the Warhammer Heroes line but this will be your first chance to get them to use in your continued adventures in Darkwater. You will get all of the cards, tokens and more you need for running these heroes.
Agents of the Order Azyr - Components // Warhammer Age of Sigmar
Warhammer Quest: Darkwater is a fantastic adventure game with plenty of options for those who want to do one-off games but also full campaigns that could be fit into the course of a weekend. Adding in four new heroes should make for plenty of different outcomes to your adventures, which are already quite varied due to the way the game is set up.
With the wealth of additional heroes also made available through White Dwarf, there's plenty of scope for Games Workshop to do more with Warhammer Quest: Darkwater. It really feels like they've managed to get the format down after the likes of Blackstone Fortress and Cursed City.
What do you make of these new miniatures?
