Great week this week, loving all the stuff so far…keep em coming!
Very cool! Although I’ve also found acrylic to be a pain to work with…
Like the look of these, and as an aside Heolots were the Spartan slave/subject caste, so having them as ‘protective’ models makes sense
That big guy is really cool! And the scenic bases makes them look even better!
These are my favourite Dragyri miniatures so far.
That flavour text though… 😀
those guys are wicked lookin
Yep this will be my faction… One day…
Would like to team these up with one of the more ‘Outcast looking’ Fire cast Dragyri guys from the faction video. The shields are a very cool touch. Bigger means easier to shoot, but easier to paint. Should be able to get some awesome detailing and pop from these models given half the chance.:-)
Completely agree about the uniqueness of the shields but im still not sold on the overall aesthetic of these guys
Space spartan alien guys? Yes please! The sculpts are very good and the clear shields are a great touch. The Fire Caste looks like the group for me.
i would play fire caste … with a spartan look!!!
very cool looking guys
Love the Spirit Lord, he looks immense!
Nice. I could have fun painting these guys.
damn too many choices
Hooo they are really nice !!
I really like the 300 reference 😀 But pardon me guys I think neither 300 or 200 will be enough against a war band led by Warren….If you know what I mean.
Nice looking minis
Very Spartan-ese! Great stuff guys!
I love the look of the fire caste and hope the other factions get new sculpts . Those shields are pretty sweet.
Great stuff, nice idea with the shields.
Nice unboxing. I like the color scheme on them.
I got to say they look sharp. When I get in to this game Its all about fire and air.
I really like the fire caste.
“Being a runt in the Dragyri means your are still 9 feet tall” … quote of the week!!
These models do look nice, although if they are the runts then I would not like to meet the Ice Caste who are meant to be the biggest.
I have these guys and they are pretty awesome. All of the dragyri are tough customers on the battlefield.
Those are bigger than I thought that they would be.
nice looking minis, starting to get torn between these, outcasts or maybe ice….
that spirit lord is beautiful
Maybe this should be my faction.. they have a big projectile weapon… just like me. BAZINGA!
Hihi Justin said ‘dymanism’.
Damn on second listen he said it correctly. My bad.
Ok, Now thats one big spartan ha ha.
The Warband leader loped forward, looking over the ranks of the Forsaken. He shook his shoulders, rolled his neck and dragged his sword over the orange glow of his force shield. A shower of sparks erupted from the blade. His lungs drew in a huge breath of the dry, desert air and was released with the loudest, deepest war cry that had ever been uttered. He was determination embodied.
The resin looks sharp and I like the idea of using clear acrylic for the energy shields.
I like a lot of the design aesthetics for this game. Will be watching to see more. 🙂
Nice video and very nice minis. However I am not entirely sold on the acrylic shields, I think they look a little bit out of place on these models, though I do understand the reasoning behind doing the shields like this in order to represent the tech they have available to this faction.
Was thinking of ice, but fire looks a good other option
Those guys are huge. Not a fan of metal anymore but the resin look awesome! They look cool and the use of acrylic is a neat idea.
Did not realise these minis were as big as they are, really impressed especialy the resin ones. Bring on more.
Like these, particularly the resins, and the shields are a great idea
They are nice sculpts not too sure on clear acrylic parts but unknown territory, not the faction for me though.
..UUUUUUuuuuuUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!…..NICE Acrylic energy Shields!!!….
Been a great insight into dark age this week, looks like a game and universe could really get into…
9 feet!? Well is it a napoleon complex that makes them so heated? Really like the acrylic shields too. Very nifty
These Dragyri look great!
Well wax my legs and call me Gladys, I said no to starting more games then you show me this. What am I to do now?
Well, I plan not to come anywhere near your legs, I guess, but, welcome to this club, Gladys!
^^
Great sculpts, and that energy shield is just great. Is corvus belli watching these vids?
I wasn’t particularly interested in fire caste at first, but those do look awesome!
The Kukulkani brought forth these modern-ancient patterns in miniature design. The Fire Caste range then took that to a whole new level.
I blame the stunning artwork.
I’ll reserve judgment for when i’ll have seen all the factions but these are really nice.
Mr. Black’s look around 7:45 towards the camera, i.e. the audience – is it rather “You want to grab that now”, “You’re not prepared for what’s coming your way next” or “Dare turning against the forsaken at your own peril”?
So glad there are more Dark Age goodies to see. Now show me the Skarrd!!!
One more game you’re sucking me into, you vicious Beasts. Those are some gorgeous models.
Really like what I have been seeing so far this week, these guys look cool but not for me
The shields are a nice touch. Great idea.
Cool figs! looks like the live of my Forsaken just became more difficult.
Dragiry and archangels got muy atention.
beautiful model looks like it has good conversion potential too
Hey Coolminiornot, me and some other guys here, in cold Russia, are trying to motivate gamers around to play your great game of Dark Age, and nice to see the unboxing of the very same starter set that I always wanted to buy, ’cause the Volcanic phalanx are awesome miniatures to collect and paint, it’s like fielding Leonidas and his three hundred spartans in the Mad Max setting (btw, cool background relating the film “300” :))! So, we are about to begin converting people in our country to the various factions of Samaria (I am doing a fan-translation of the free rules and backgound to russian language) and just wished to say thanks for the game and for coming to Beasts of War, because to be seen is sometimes better than to be read in this times.
Love the box set….cant wait to see whats next…
Wow really cool! 😀
Dark Age is awesome!
I am a melee kinda guy..but I’m not sure about these guys. Maybe If i had that fancy rulebook I’d know more of what I’m looking at
Yay! Dark Age!
I was looking for a good Alien race to play in this game. I like the backstory for this sub faction and the models look awesome. Just might be the race I play. Burn it to the ground!
It looks very good everything, it will be a difficult choice to pick up the right army
This is lovely!
Definitely in my top3. They look awesome!
I would try these out as well. They are quite unique.
Shameless contest post.
Really do like these !
The models look great, but I’m not so sure about the acrylic shield. It may give them a toy-like appearance.
How tall are these models in millimeters? I’m wondering if they could be used as regular sized figures in a 54mm game.
I do like the look of the fire caste.
Fire cast are so hot, also way more cooler than Ice cast.
Dark Age is so cool!
Dark Age looks fun!
This was interesting!
Some of the fiction is amazing for the setting.
Wow! This looks fantastic!
It looks interesting!
Dark Age Week was cool!
Wow, awesome!
Dark Age rox!
This was excellent!
I’m absolutely amazed by Dark Age!
