Tagged: Fallout, Gaming Mat, Neoprene Mat, Table
Hi,
Just wondering if anyone knows any easy ways of flattening a neoprene mat. I got this mat with the Red Rocket Scenic Set for Fallout: Wasteland Warfare and this is my first neoprene mat. Please help.

If you have the space: lay it flat, put piece of wood on top (covering all) and but weights on it (books, water bottles) and let it sit. Maybe Modiphius has a video on that too? 😉
I have it now laying on the floor with a 18mm thick 3’x3′ piece of OSB, which is quite heavy on it’s own. I can’t put much more on it since it would get in the way and I don’t have much space. I will leave it like this overnight and hope it will be straighter tomorrow. On the table the mat was laying on that piece of OSB in order to give the table size it needs.
You could hang it from a washing line and the folds will drop out and then keep it rolled up.
I use these to store my smaller mats

Problem is they only good for up to 2 foot (although perfect for Deadzone and Dreadball), just roll up the mat and slide it in the tube. Not been able to find any longer versions however, but most people just “hang” them at home on a rack with a dust sheet over them for long term storage (never fold them and put them in a box, they WILL crease).
You can iron neoprene apparently
