Thoughts on new Warlord tank preorders ?

While I think the  plastic Chafee will be good for US units  ( IRC only 1 Brit unit got them in 45 ) , I’m thinking the Japanese Type 3 Chi – Nu is a fail . Those in my circle were hoping for a Type 95 Ho- Ga , a light  tank which started service in 1937 and served all over the countries Japan invaded . They also produced around 23oo while the Chi Nu had around 150 built . The Chi-Nu  was only based in the home islands of Japan to fight against the Allied invasion , which after the 2 nukes never happened . Well maybe the Konflict 47 guys will excited about it , I’m going to get a couple more resin ones from Trenchworx

Well if I learned anything from looking at people playing WW II games: it doesn’t matter how many Tigers, Panthers or StuGs where actually build – if it plays well it will spawn everywhere.

It is of utmost importance to get the money from the hogs and World of Tanks players.

There’s always going to be some that don’t quite make it into production despite being more important than those that do within the historical context for various a-historical reasons (Tigers being prime examples).

With K’47 there’s also another reason for these outliers to exist despite not featuring as prominently as others may have been.
Wiki says they’re equal to medium tonks from other armies, which could have been a reason as well.

In the end it’s a company that needs to sell stuff.
Someone up there must have thought they knew what was more important to their bottom line.

More tonks is good.
There’s always the 3D print option if you’re really desperate for an accurate representation.
It’s not like you have to buy Warlord Plastic Tonks, is it?

The Chi-nu kit is an example of the business side of this. However, in NWE battles the appearance of so many Stugs, Panthers, and Tigers makes sense in certain context. The Stug was the most produced German armored vehicle if the war. It should be everywhere. And American and British troops were terrible at identifying German armor so they report Tigers and Panthers in battles where it was actually Panzer IVs and Stugs. If you off the written records in English you would believe the Tiger and Panther were everywhere as well in spite of that not being true.

From a distance the front view of a Pzr IV with the turret & side skirts looks large and square just like the silhouette of a Tiger I .. enough to have all those green US troops in a panic . Seen from the side it’s easy to spot the differences .

Saw a behind the scenes  Warlord Day video on you tube that showed what looks to be a plastic Panzer 2  , an Italian L33 flame thrower tank with trailer , a plastic French Schneider 75mm field gun  and plastic early war Poles that come with a few cavalry troops & horses so we can build Lancers ! Estimated date of release , your guess is as good as mine , but I’m saving my pocket money
