@biggabum lots of (day)light and setting your flash to ‘fill flash’ instead of ‘auto’ may fix the flash issues.

Now that I’ve seen ‘Rise of Skywalker’ I can visit the internet again.
Definitely a better movie than ‘Last Jedi’, but then that isn’t exactly raising the bar 😉

@limburger thanks. ahhhh I saw Fill Flash in the settings but thought it was just like the normal Flash just a wider beam or summat. I’ll try that in future. Daylight is always going to be a problem in the room we use, moreso at this time of year, would a daylight bulb help?

@biggabum more light is always good. Daylight bulbs mimic daylight, so that should make your room brighter.
They’re expensive and the brigth daylight is really only useful in an office, for photography or when painting.

@limburger yeah a bit pricey justfor taking the odd pic of games in progress methinks. I’ll see if using the Fill Flash helps if not i’ll just have to bite the bullet and get me one.

On a more cheerful note Matty was winding my youngest lad up who then tried to kick Matty up the ass, missed, hit the door and has broke his toe  😀

if you’re going to buy anything for better pictures then I’d say that a lightbox (such as the one sold at the OTT store) may be a better value for your money. A (decent) digital camera is still going to outperform a mobile phone, but at least you get better pictures compared to now.

I think a light box is a great idea. Its my Birthday in a few weeks so i’ll pop one down on my want list and see if somebody gets me one.
