October 26, 2019 at 9:48 pm #1450731Reaper Bones Kraken. The beast was Primed in GW Corax White (rattle can), GW Contrast Paint Fleshtearer Red, and Reaper Bone Shadow. And eyes are GW Contrast Black Templar.
The Ship was done in GW Contrast Paint Wyldwood, with rope in GW Contrast Nazdreg Yellow. The barnacles were done in Reaper Aged Bone with GW Reikland Fleshshade, the prow was done with GW Dry paints – Sigmarite, Golden Griffon and Necromunda Compound with the bird eyes on the prow having a hint of GW Dry Lucius Lilac. Holding now but may do some lighter color dry brush but like how it’s turned out.

@sundancer every time I see one of your posts I check out Warlords website. I love Judge Dredd.
@themetal1 I love that model and have thought about getting it several times. You make it look very realistic. I wonder which lists/games you could use it in?

October 27, 2019 at 2:12 pm #1450837I take a break painting tiny wotr minis and started working on my Falklands era Harriers for BRS jet age

October 27, 2019 at 3:45 pm #1450839I completed some Skaven for Age of Magic, I was running a bit low on energy for these but managed to get them done in the end. I liked the mage the best, a classic GW sculpt.

Warlord;

Some Jezzails and a Ratling gun (I think it was called);

Also, I started with Napoleonics… Dont know if that was a particularly wise decision, but could not help myself.. 🙂 The test figure is a Perry Miniatures Prussian Line infantry and it was done primarily with Contrast paints as a starting point. I am eager to get going with the rest of the box, lets see how long that energy lasts… 😀

October 28, 2019 at 12:09 pm #1451103I went to an 18 man tournament yesterday and won my first award for painting. I had the best fully painted army at the event. Not everyone qualified though, but I’m still happy, although I’d have been happier if it was full of something amber and warming.

I’ve also made some progress on my Iron Boss. When squeezing out the second drop of iron from the dropper bottle I accidentally squeezed out half of the bottle, so I just undercoated everything iron rather than let it go to waste, and will paint up some of it in colour later. I’m thinking lots of red, but maybe some other colours too. Everything is a lot easier to see and understand now, at least.
