The Forces Of Nature Spring Forth For Mantic’s Kings Of War
June 2, 2026 by brennon
Mantic Games are now taking pre-orders for another expanded Kings of War army! The Forces of Nature are getting something of a glow-up with some excellent new heroes, core troops and more, all tied into the latest Fracture book.
Ydrin Treecreeper // Kings of War
We will kick things off with one of the nice entry points into Kings of War and a solid game in of itself, Champions. Leading the way, we have Ydrin Treecreeper, who has their own Company Box for you to snap up, giving you a snapshot of the Forces of Nature on the tabletop.
Ydrin Treecreeper Company Box // Kings of War
This Company Box comes with the cocky, brash Ydrin alongside a small company of warriors, seeking to undertake the tasks set for him by the Green Lady. The miniature for Ydrin is MasterCraft resin but the rest of the miniatures from the set are hard plastic, covering the twenty Tribal Warriors and the four Centaurs. A solid core of infantry and then some great cavalry to help give you a balanced force. You also have the option of making the basic Tribal Warriors ranged and melee-based.
New Forces of Nature Heroes
The new Tribal forces coming to the tabletop also feature lots of different heroes, all of which you can use to tell your own stories across the world of Pannithor.
Tribal Songweaver // Kings of War
If you're looking for someone to inspire your Tribal warriors to new feats, raising them up when the going gets tough, you could snap up the Tribal Songweaver. Failing that, if a thundering charge across the battlefield is inspiring for you, you could also choose from the
Centaur Chief // Kings of War
Often acting as envoys when not during times of war, the Centaur Chiefs can still cause some serious damage when they thunder across the battlefield alongside more of their kin. I really like all of the magical tattoos on the body and the absolutely massive maul that is going to cause some issues for enemies, even in their heavy armour!
Some more classic Forces of Nature characters have also entered the fold, including this brilliant Gladewalker Druid.
Gladewalker Druid // Kings of War
I've always been a massive fan of the treekin/ent/treeman side of the Forces of Nature army in Kings of War and this new sculpt for the Gladewalker Druid is a great new addition to the range. This is a really nice way of showing off the Tribal elements of this army can leave behind their mortal lives and instead become one with nature itself. The horns become gnarled wood and the fur, rough bark and shrugs off damage.
If that wasn't natural enough for you, how about this Avatar of the Green Lady?
Avatar of the Green Lady // Kings of War
The Green Lady has vowed never to bring her full might to the battlefield ever again and so she sends an Avatar in her stead, which mimics a fraction of her power. Bringing together fire, water, earth and wind, this shard of the Green Lady can bring forth the plants of the earth to fight on her command and smother her foes. She can also then drain their life energy back into the soil!
Armies of the Forces of Nature
If this seems like it's the army for you, you can also check out the new Battalion and more from Mantic, which can help you build up a bigger army for the Forces of Nature.
Forces of Nature Battalion // Kings of War
This comes with more of the new Centaurs, loads of Tribal Warriors, plus the Gladewalker Druid and a set of three Earth Elementals for absolutely smashing your opponent aside and holding the line. If those brutes don't do it for you, you could also pick up the new Guardian Brutes coming out as well.
Guardian Brute Troops // Kings of War
These were once mortals, now twisted into bestial forms like mighty minotaurs. They have now become part of The Herd and do the Lady's bidding, smashing through the enemies of Nature itself alongside some of their smaller kin.
This is not all of the new miniatures from Mantic Games. You can find more of the miniatures and various ways of picking them in bundles and such over on their pre-order page HERE.
Could this end up being a good entry point into Kings of War for you?
