More Irish Legends, Amazonians & Savage Core Brutes By Lucid Eye
August 19, 2026 by brennon
Lucid Eye has a great mix of new miniatures for a selection of their ranges and games for you to pick up this week. We start with another addition to their Jim FitzPatrick collection, bringing Irish myths and legends to life in miniature.
Nuada of the Silver Arm // Lucid Eye
This miniature represents the mighty Nuada and is based on a piece of artwork by FitzPatrick that was done for the Irish Sunday Independant. Nuada lost his arm in battle but after spending seven years recouperating with Dian Cécht, the healer, he was blessed with a silver arm that was decorated with sacred runes. From that point on, he was known as Nuada Airgedlámh.
You could do some awesome paint jobs with this miniature, especially if you tried to match it to the artwork by FitzPatrick. Maybe you could even work in some of the runes on that silver arm?
New Amazonian Warriors
Stepping away from Irish myth, we also have some warrior women from myths and legends told around the Mediterranean.
Amazon Wardaughters Standard & Musician // Lucid Eye
This set gives you a couple of command options for running your Amazonian armies on the tabletop. The set comes with one Wardaughter holding her banner high whilst the second is calling her forces to war alongside her. I really like the Amazon range by Lucid Eye which has grown steadily since the Ziggurat collection popped up. I use a lot of their miniatures to represent friends and enemies of Conan in my Fantasy collection.
Delve Into The Savage Core
Last of the new miniatures is another miniature for the Corelocks of Savage Core.
Corelock Brute // Lucid Eye
This musclebound Corelock Brute is going to be one of the more challenging foes that you'll have to face as you delve down into the Savage Core with your Pulp adventurers. Part of me suggests that you just get rid of this fellow like Indiana Jones and shoot him with your revolver. It might be more fun for you to have to go hand to hand with him though like Captain Kirk. Another great addition to their Pulp collection that would work for all manner of games.
Elfking Miniature Previews
As well as the new miniatures, Lucid Eye has also been previewing some more miniatures that are going to soon join their Elfking range.
Elfking WiP Miniatures // Lucid Eye
Lucid Eye are currently working on an incredible-looking Elfking roleplaying game that is going to be coming to Kickstarter in the near future. Before that, however, you will be able to pick up a suite of new Elfking miniatures that represent the various characters that make up this Fae world of elven lords with a dash of classic Nordic myth and legend thrown in for good measure.
More of the expansive Elfking range can be found HERE and it's one of my favourites. I really love the characters and the lore that Lucid Eye has built up around the world of Elfking. There's also a game that you can delve into called The Red Book of the Elf King, written by Rick Priestley. If you'd like a cheaper way into this world, there is also a set of quick play rules called Elf King Red which is also available on the Lucid Eye website alongside warbands to get you going.
What do you make of the new miniatures from Lucid Eye?
