Late Romans & Dark Age Cavalry Available From Wargames Atlantic

Wargames Atlantic have now released two of their Historical plastic sets for your 28mm-scale wargaming. Diving into the Dark Ages and the Late Roman period, you can get your hands on both fearsome infantry and thundering cavalry.

This set comes with enough components to make twenty-four legionaries with a range of weapons like spatha, spear and plumbata. You also get two types of standard and that iconic scale armour. You also have three helmet options: the Niedebieber, ridge, and Spangenhelm.

There are also two types of crest options and extra heads that allow you to make your commanders. Whilst this has been designed to suit your Late Romans, this can also be used to make armoured warriors for the Goths, Burgundians, Saxons, Franks and the Romano-British.

This set can also be matched up with some of the other sets from the Decline and Fall range so that you can craft all sorts of warriors for different armies of the period. The Late Roman period features such iconic and interesting warriors and sits in a fascinating spot in history before the Dark Ages/Early Medieval period truly took hold.

Unarmoured Dark Age Cavalry

If you're looking to add cavalry options to a variety of different armies for this Dark Age period, you can also pick up the Unarmoured Cavalry set from Wargames Atlantic.
