NEW Dystopian Wars Enlightened Starter Set Coming In July!

Sticking with the Enlightened theme for July, Warcradle Studios will be releasing the new Starter Set for the Enlightened as they surge into view in your naval wargames of Dystopian Wars. See what you think of the contents of the new plastic set!

Enlightened Starter Set // Dystopian Wars

The Enlightened are a strange and fiendish faction within the world of the Dystopian Age, bringing incredibly high-tech and destructive weaponry to the battlefield, be that on land or, in this case, at sea. With all sorts of scientific developments under their belt, the Enlightened has been able to harness that into weapons that the other factions and nations of the Dystopian Age can't match in some cases.

That technology is represented in the fleet of options they have access to in Dystopian Wars. You have their eerily sleek ships, festooned with guns and their almost alien-like flying creations that watch over the fleet and provide targeting data to those aboard the vessels.

• 3x Lovelace Cruisers (May also be built as Copernicus Heavy Cruiser, Agora Command Cruiser, or Chatelet Drone Cruiser)
• 3x Merian Automata Frigates
• 3x Endymion Dyad Rotors

...so plenty to get you started as the Enlightened in Dystopian Wars. You also get the usual mix of "getting started" gubbins from Warcradle, so you have everything in one place, ready to go once you've assembled the miniatures.

The Dystopian Wars Starters are a solid choice for someone wanting to dive into the game. The plastic miniatures are really nice to work with and you get a good suite of options for someone starting out or returning to the faction.

Alliance Frontline Squadrons

It's not all Enlightened in July, however, as the Alliance also get their Frontline Squadrons for Dystopian Wars as well.

A good way for you to slot in more French or Portuguese vessels to your Alliance force on the high seas of the Dystopian Age. These are good little "boosters" for your Dystopian Wars fleets, giving you more ways to play around with weapon loadouts and tactics on the tabletop.

You'll have seen these Alliance offerings before but within you get access to...

• 2x Ecuyere Frigates (may also be built as Bretteur Destroyers)
• 2x Chevalier Cruisers (may also be built as Charlemagne Heavy Cruisers, Loire Light Cruisers, Picardy Monitors, or Concordant Command Cruisers)
• 2x Escort Tokens
• 2x SRS Tokens

A good chance for you to perhaps play around with a different build option or two for the likes of the Cruisers and the Frigates. All of this will be coming your way in July so if you're a fan of the Enlightened or the Alliance, you'll have some fun toys to tinker with.
