New Warhammer Age of Sigmar Mini-Game, Brawlers Of Behemat!
August 25, 2026 by brennon
Tempted by the new Warhammer Age of Sigmar Sons of Behemat after seeing the new reveals last week? Well, how about getting a taste of all of that foot-stomping, tree-swinging, villager-eating madness with a new boxed game in the form of Brawlers of Behemat?
Brawlers of Behemat // Warhammer Age of Sigmar
Brawlers of Behemat is a good way for you to get your hands on two Gargants for use in Warhammer Age of Sigmar but it also sounds like it might be quite a fun game to play with a pal. Brawlers of Behemat is what happens when Gargants get a bit angry with each other and want to settle an argument.
Mega-Gargants // Warhammer Age of Sigmar
A pair of Mega-Gargants go toe-to-toe in a game where you're looking to smash your opponent's limbs so they can't fight back. It's brutal and makes use of damage dashboards (which you can see in the first image) to track how badly you've pummeled your opponent. It looks like there are rules for all of the Mega-Gargant variants but you only get two kits in the box, so you'll need to pick which ones you prefer. Or just proxy which one is which, obviously.
The set allows you to build the Gatebreaker, Kraken-Eater or the Warstomper but it also comes with some new Warhammer Age of Sigmar terrain as Games Workshop builds up more of the ruins of Embergard.
Brawlers of Behemat Terrain // Warhammer Age of Sigmar
Brawlers of Behemat can take as little as fifteen miniatures to play, apparently, which means it might be good to play when you're in between larger games. I could also see this being a good pick-up for someone who already has a Sons of Behemat army and wants to get their hands on a few more Mega-Gargants whilst also having a neat game to play with their collection.
I could see this being a fun event game for a club to run to get people excited about moving around big ol'giants on the tabletop. It reminds me a lot of the old Games Workshop game of Imperial Knight battles they released years ago. Maybe this is a sign of Games Workshop returning to these quirky, odd, limited-release boxes with a twist to them?
What do you make of Brawlers of Behemat as an idea?
