If you're looking for a fun little Indie project to back, then how about this set of 28mm scale Goblin Archers for you to use in your Fantasy armies? Jonathan Brodsky has sculpted a set of Old School-inspired Goblins by hand, available in gloriously heavy metal!

In the past, the miniatures from Brodsky would have been cast by themselves but they have decided to go with a professional caster this time to get higher-quality miniatures and, in turn, mass-produce them. That's why the Kickstarter is running as a way to help aid the production of these figures and get things started.

There are two sets of Goblins included as part of this campaign. The first is a set of Goblin Archers who all come armed with bows and arrows and are looking to stick someone in the back from ambush. They also all come with names, which is very in keeping with classic Oldhammer miniatures.

The second set of miniatures from Brodsky is the Command for your Archers. You get a Champion, Musician and Standard as part of this collection, all seeking to be as unserious and silly as possible. Perfect for old school Goblins.

Both of the sets come with bonus frogs that can be used as unit fillers or just as markers in your games, whatever you might be playing. As the campaign has gone so well, a Stretch Goal has also been unlocked to add some Bonus Frogs into the mix for backers.

Why would you not want more weird two-legged frogs for you to throw into your games? They look adorable but I bet they get rather annoying quickly as they keep thwacking you with their tongues.

Jonathan Brodsky has been sculpting for around two years at this point and has really enjoyed the process of bringing these odd little hand-sculpted miniatures to life. I think it's great that they are taking that next step to work with a professional to get these new miniatures to the tabletop for folks.

What do you make of these Goblins from Brodsky?
