On Bloody Ground’s New Historical Rules Head To The Sudan
October 14, 2026 by brennon
WiP Games and Miniatures moves to another period of history with their brand-new set of wargaming rules for On Bloody Ground. This time, the team are going to be heading to The Sudan.
The Sudan // On Bloody Ground
This new period for On Bloody Ground delves into all of the core rules for movement, shooting and combat alongside command and order structures for running your games. The twist here is that the game moves to The Sudan and the rise of Muhammad Ahmad bin Abdullah as the Mahdi of Islam.
Alongside the rules, you'll also find five new complete army lists for you to consider, going from the Kedivate of Egypt, The Ansar, the Early War British, The Mahdist State and the Late War British. A great way for you to don your tan, rock your pith helmets and battle across baking battlefields. As with all of the On Bloody Ground wargames, this is available on its own and with a range of tokens.
Are you going to be heading to The Sudan?
