Pirates & Spooky Strigoi Join TTCombat’s Carnevale Collection

TTCombat introduced three new miniatures to the world of Carnevale. Both the Guild and the forces of the Strigoi get some new figures this time around, introducing plenty of swashbuckling spooks to your skirmishes throughout Venice.

Mira O'Shea // Carnevale

We start with the dashing Mira O'Shea, who joins the Guild. She is a pirate queen who has decided to join up with the Guild after the destruction of her ship. The destruction of her ship came at the hands of an Ottoman convoy that was defended by heavily armoured ships of the line. She escaped capture and execution before drifting to Venice and ingratiating herself with the Guild of Thieves.

She has a stunning miniature, once again proving that TTCombat really have levelled up when it comes to their sculpting. The details are top-notch, and it would be great to see folks painting the miniature as presented here, with the additional tattoo work for good measure!

Spooky Strigoi

Following on from Mira, she might find herself coming up against the deadly Radu Basarab of the Strigoi.

Radu Basarab // Carnevale

Radu was once a Wallachian general and mentor to the fearsome Vlad. He reluctantly embraced the power offered by vampirism after seeing how brutal it could be on the battlefield. He was falsely accused of plotting against Vlad and so found himself bound within a silver-lined coffin and buried for centuries. Radu was freed when the Rent in the Sky shattered the seal and now he wants payback against Vlad. He has now vowed to reclaim his power and become the new lord of the Strigoi, surplanting Vlad in the process.

Another beautiful miniature that is absolutely packed with detail. I love the face in particular. He also has a particularly cruel-looking weapon, which is going to cause all sorts of horror. One poor unfortunate has already met with the ire of Radu!

Radu may have to contend with, or at least bend to his will, the fearsome Zoryi, which has also been added into the mix by TTCombat.

Extreme Zoryi // Carnevale

This is one of the biggest and deadliest monsters that Vlad can unleash on the poor folk of Venice. The Zoryi comes with two pairs of arms. There are the hardened clubs of bone and flesh in the place where arms should be, alongside the bloody and twisted talons that burst from its side.
