Brigands of Arja, the Fantasy skirmish game by Firelock Games that was on Kickstarter last year, is now available for you to pre-order if you missed out. Dive into this quick, brutal skirmish game, which can also be turned into a campaign you can play in an afternoon.

Brigands of Arja is a Fantasy game where one to four players take control of small warbands made up of between three and six warriors. Simple, slick mechanics run the brutal combat in-game between competing warbands but also the terrifying monsters that stalk the lands on this hopeless isle.

The real selling point of Brigands of Arja, however, is that it is designed to be played as a quick multi-game campaign. This isn't a campaign that will take months to play but instead can be fitted into an afternoon or evening session with friends.

Making use of full campaign rules like a post-game sequence and such, you and your friends will play at least three games and then see who claims the highest infamy at the end. What's also neat is that Brigands of Arja can be played head-to-head but also solo and cooperative if you like!

Inside, you'll find the Rulebook, Warband Tracker Cards, Unit Cards, Monster Cards, a miniature for the Serpent, eight customisable sprue-based models for the Barbarians and Brigands, plus a Ruler, Tokens and a handful of dice.

As well as those starting options for Brigands of Arja, a whole bunch of additional figures are also available over on the Firelock Games website, allowing you to expand the options that you have to play with. Maybe you'd like to snap up the Brigand Leader to lead the way on your next expedition?

You could also fear the rage of the rather brilliant-looking Barbarian Berserker who is going to lay waste to whoever comes their way. Whilst you can get your hands on these miniatures from Firelock, there's no reason why you can't just pick up the Rulebook and dive into your plastic collection from the likes of Frostgrave to make your miniatures for this game.

What I would suggest picking up from Firelock Games is their monster collection. The team worked on some great-looking monsters that can pop up during your games and so picking up some of their unique figures might be a good way to make sure your collection matches the cards from the game.

There are the likes of the monstrous Cyclops, ready to smash aside some unlucky Brigands. You could also scoop up the Scorpion that will kill you long after the battle if that sting ever manages to find bare flesh!
