Wrath & Twisted Rage Comes To Corvus Belli’s Warcrow In August

A fearsome leader and a terrifying monster join the Corvus Belli collection for their 32mm scale Fantasy wargame, Warcrow. Get some great new miniatures for the Northern Tribes, Mounthaven Dwarves and Scions of Yaldabaoth.

Wrathmane // Warcrow

We start with the Wrathmane for the forces of the Northern Tribes. They are the embodiment of violence and authority, driving other troops towards the destruction of the enemy, especially those under his personal command.

The Wrathmane is an elite option for your warband, capable of neutralising opponents with his debuffs: Daunted and Disarmed. He is also a dangerous foe in his own right, with five wounds to his name and elite status, meaning that all symbols count towards the rolls he makes. He is going to be a target you're going to want to remove from the equation.

The Twisted Mórnmab

If you're a fan of the Scions of Yaldaboath, then you're going to want to snap up the twisted and monstrous Mórnmab.

The Mórnmab is terrifying in that it has self-healing and damage-negation abilities, which mean that trying to kill it is going to be nigh on impossible. When used in battle, it is an unstoppable tank that wears down the enemy. As Corvus Belli says, the fact that it just won't die means that it will slowly grind down your opponent's troops whilst they try in vain to avoid is slashing claws and skewering horns.

It helps that the Mórnmab looks terrifying, in the best way possible. I can't imagine some of the twisted and horrible paint jobs folks are going to do for the Mórnmab, especially with all of that raw, knitted-together flesh!

Mounthaven Reinforcements

Last but not least, you can also get some more reinforcements for Mounthaven with the release of the Militia.

Mounthaven Militia // Warcrow

In classic Dwarven fashion, the Mounthaven Militia are an immovable wall, which makes them an impressive option for a rank-and-file troop choice within the faction. With three wounds each, they are tough and your enemy is going to have to commit something impressive in order to wear down this wall. You're not going to be able to avoid them either, as they are going to be sent by their commander to go and secure objectives!

I like that the Militia have the look of classic Dwarves. I enjoy a lot of the designs that you find in Warcrow but there's something about the classic Dwarf that just doesn't need changing! I also like that the set comes with a split of male and female warriors so you've got some diversity in the range.
