About the Project
I signed up to the GW painting challenge. Knowing that I have well over a hundred GW minis unpainted I thought it would be an easy enough task. Then I realised the expiry date set the bar higher than I expected. I have to do this by the 9th of May! That's almost a miniature a day from the date I made my pledge. Oops. I will give it the good old college try. 🤷 Wish me luck.

Necromunda stragglers
#86 Goliath Gang Member - Ron
Ron is mostly a burgundy colour. (See what I did there?) I lost a chest piece for my last Goliath guy on the sprue. I will fill the hole in his chest with a putty and see what armour I can make shift over the top.

This helped finish off a Goliath Gang I started quite a while ago. I think I was holding off so I could make sure I had a playable list, but I just threw them together with probably low cost kit and hoped for the best.Another Puppy

The mower completes the set of three variants for my collection. I kitbashed one variant and the other duel wielding one was the standard loadout from the Dark Imperium box.

But was purchased to enter in the Travelling Man Painting competition. Only allowed to use the 4 colours provided plus a white and a black on a random GW model sent to you. Basing materials also provided and used. The base.The naughty number
Just to be silly, a friend has a Slannesh model they would like me to repaint for them. And as the number 69 has a connotation, and Slannesh have a reputation, it seemed appropriate to park this number and continue painting around it until he can get the mini to me to paint. (April 19th seems to be the likely date for that. Playing D&D together. 👍)
Plaguebearers
Found some parts and bodies in a bits box donation from a friend so will be able to build more than the regular 10 in a box. I don’t know how these play in 40k or AoS, so I had to chose how to base them for the best. I went with a mix of dirt and stones oneside and rocks and grass the other. This kinda takes it away from Sci-fi but that’s fine by me for now.
