Andy, doesn’t your guy still get an ARO for the camo marker revealing itself?
i assume you roll for the lock on and reveal the figure…then you get an aro.
Then BAM a rocket breakfast
You will get an ARO, yes. However, because he is revealing in his active turn it is not a face to face roll. Instead, the forward observer will roll first, followed by any reaction orders.
Exactly and that balances the camouflaged/ TO camouflaged FO, they will have the best chances to get their target marked, but, they are also open to retaliation.
Nice tactical tip…shame you lose the camo. Great to see Infinity still popping up on hear…looking forward too using my drones to pop off some guided rockets
Two Infinity videos this week. Woot!
Also, a Forward Observer (after a successful WIP roll) allows a mini to fire a speculative shot without the -6 modifier.
that is handy. I’ll keep that in mind.
I understand you guys still don’t want to get involved with 6th sense ability. In that case you could have swapped the Kempeitai for another kind of unit, a Domaru or Keisotsu would have worked. As things are in the video, Kempeitai’s 6th sense would allow him to force a FtF roll vs the camo troop.
The video is quite basic, I think having already introduced hackers with basic hacking mechanics, you could have added in this video that any enemy hacker can ARO hack the missile with a direct roll with -3 to hacker’s WIP, thus disabling the missile with a successful roll.
That’s my constructive criticism. Keep up the good work guys.
Ow, missile to the face sounds painful. I’ll be sure to try it on opponents. 🙂 Can anybody with a missile launcher launch guided missiles?
Just got a few d20s today. So now I am ready to get the people at my store hooked. My cousin was already easy. Showed him Yu Jing and he said: “Wow, i wanna play those!”
The only way to fire guided missiles is with a Guided Missile Launcher. At moment this weapon is equipped only by some REMs. Each faction has access to one of this kind of REMs though.
the human sphere really turned my game on its head….
FO foxtrot ranger + Traktor REM = lots of fun! LOL
