Did Corvus Belli recently hire someone who left GW’s marketing department? What is with minis companies and crappy videos? This was a date with a series of logos. If CB had put up a big static image on their homepage (where they have a rotating slideshow of big static marketing images already) I would be really interested in whatever they have up their sleeves.
But every time I see one of these crappy videos that might as well be jpegs I am actually less interested in whatever it is they’re talking about. Making your announcement stupid makes your product look stupid by association. This is not effective marketing guys. Just because you have a copy of After Effects does not mean you have to use it.
Having said, that I am still mildly interested in anything new for Infinity.
No, this video is lightyears ahead of the bad-pan-in, terrible-voice-modulated vids being put out by GW. It did what it set out to do easily, quickly and effectively, and with 100% less fluff and garbage then the GW ones. We already know that the new book is gonna have a heavy CA flavour to it; this looks like Paradiso sending up embers…
