Actually, you can give the Ork Trukk an upgrade, Reinforced Ram, which allows you to tank shock.
Darrel, you CAN upgrade a vehicle to tank shock!
I’m surprised he didn’t get that. Using the Reinforced ram to tank shock is great.
HAHA Tyranids don’t have tanks!
Well duh! is that really what happens across the pond?
Dark eldar torture amps!
doesnt the reinforced ram only work on ramming vehcles because it give you +2 front armour?
Ork Codex specifically says that the RR allows Tank Shock but treats it’s front armour as +2 for the purposes of “death or glory”. So it’s not a global +2 to front armour…just death and glory situations.
Nope, the Reinforced Ram specifically says the vehicle with the upgrade “can Tank Shock”
And the Rulebook specifically says ‘Ramming is a special form of Tank Shock’
And in any case, it’s common sense. I have a Ram, but I can’t ram things with it? WTF?!?
I agree that anything that isn’t classed as a tank can’t tank shock. As for the debate about the ork truck I’m not best qualified to comment on but if the rule for the boarding ram is as other posts has described then I agree that it can
lol a monolith con tank shock
RUN! THE MONOLITH IS OMINOUSLY INCHING TOWARDS US!!
The funny thing is if it rams other skimmers can’t dodge it because it is a skimmer as well.
Oh now that’s interesting. Surely other skimmers can dodge?
hey but what if you use a ork battlewagon?
Battlewagon is classed as tank, therefore it can Tank shock and ram 😉
the magna grapple can cause non tank vehicles to tank shock, thanks blood angels 🙂
To Phil,
The magna Grapple specify that if the vehicules comes within 1 inch to contact with another vehicule or troop allied or enemy , it stops its grappling movement. You cant Force a tank thru infantry with the grapple.
battlewagon si basically a tank
I like the moment of clarity where Loyd mentioned the BFG not the BFB. LOL. Nice try man better luck next time. Big Fat Book not Big Friendly Giant…
lol Lloyd reliving his childhood lol
BFG? Wasn’t that the big ball of green plasma from Quake 2?
Quake 2?! Heretic! It was Doom.
It was both!
+1 for Fluffdiving.
