New Space Marine Captain On Bike Rides Into Warhammer 40,000

Vroom, Vroom! Finally, after what seems like an age, the Space Marine Captains of Warhammer 40,000 can ride around on the tabletop again, this time on the back of a bike! A new Games Workshop preview showed off some of the options available.

It boggles my mind that the new Space Marines in their Primaris guise have been around for so many years and yet this is the first time we're getting a proper official new Space Marine Captain on Bike. This new Space Marine Captain can be painted up however you like, to suit the likes of the Ultramarines but, perhaps more importantly, faster-moving Chapters like the White Scars.
He gets all of the accessories and adornments that you'd expect a Space Marine Captain to have, including a cape which is definitely going to get caught in the mechanism of the bike and drag him to his death. Oops.

The set comes with plenty of head options for you to choose from, as well as weapons like the power sword, thunder hammer and the option for a plasma pistol. You also have a scabbard for his sword, which you can add to the side of the bike. He can also be posed riding the bike at an angle or at rest with a foot on the ground.
As you might have guessed, he is great alongside Outriders, giving them Cleave after the charge, turning them into a fairly brutal melee option for your Space Marines. Now we just need a bunch of Lieutenants on Bike in the rules so that we don't have to duplicate the Captain three times to cover your different squads. I doubt that'll happen any time soon.
Could this tempt you into building a White Scars army for Warhammer 40,000?
