I really dig the aesthetics of this kit, but the scale is just a bit too small for my tastes.

Nice kit but its abit small for me 🙂 Kinda reminds me of the forgeworld tau outpost thingies

Really appreciate the extra effort on this one. That demo section on how to build the main structure saved me hours of head scratching. I would have been stumped. 🙂

I think you are right, you could leave off the top cap and mount a really big gun there instead!

The deserts of Terra Nova (DP9 named their world that way before that whack dinosaur TV show) in heavy gear are littered with buildings like these. Most of the bigger settlements are called Oasis Towers and are self contained environments. Only the tops of them are above ground. Too bad we probably wont see one of them as terrain. To make the scale right it would probably take a gallon of resin. Here’s a small one.
