It was good to see that bad boy unboxed.
Dont know too much about Heavy gear. Is that model any good in the game?
It’s a nice package for an APC. It’s got armor of 18 which is higher than is needed for most light weapons to really do any damage and with the reinforced from armor of 1 it means players will need to risk an out of ammo roll on any medium rockets to have a good chance of defeating armor. With the potential to move 23″ a turn including it’s 3″ jump jet move it can get around a flank and deploy those infantry where they will have the greatest effect, make forward observations and ram the heck out of anything that tries to counter flank. It’s one of the best APCs in the game to this point. Did that answer your question?
They should rename this game ‘Heavy Wallet Blitz’
As compared to what? Most people use MERCs as a benchmark of budget gaming where a $75Can buy in gives you a force plus book. Warmachine is a $65 box set and a $30 book plus $10 templates. Heavy Gear Blitz starter set makes a Leagueless army with six models and two books for $67Can. I have found most of my armies to cost less than $200 and that’s for a big force (most armies run 1-3 combat groups at $40-60 each). How many other companies also provide free data cards of all models, free army construction, free online mag, and free paper terrain? It’s true that the models are so awesomely detailed that most customers end up purchasing a whole collection but that’s an option, not a requirement.
flame fail.
I think you misinterpret my comment. The minis are fantastic and beg to be purchased.
But whateverrrrrr lol
Dude, if you intend sarcasm, indicate sarcasm. We cannot intuitively decide your tone based on eight fairly sarcastic words. *sarcasm*. <-how to do it.
wind your neck in, maybe if you thought about other peoples comments a little before jumping on them you’d end up with less egg on your face?
