The American rebels have a whole range of colour schemes fir their forces far beyond the usually seen blue. The blackpowder rebellion book and perry miniatures boxsets illustrate this with some guides. The early war has lots of confusing schemes as every state and unit had its own ideas. It's also hard to nail some uniforms down. 
The saratoga campaign had a few colours for the rebels including red which is confusing
