I must be a bear of very little brain, but why is it necessary to name your new sci-fi game the same as an existing sci-fi game? I’m so easily confused. Having watched the video they clearly have nothing to do with each other. This one looks like it has some interesting things going on. Best of luck with the campaign.
If I were a cynical man with mean thoughts I’d say that’s the point. Having similar names in the hopes of catching peoples attention that are looking for the other game 😉
why do games workshop call their games Warhammer *something*? It keeps continuity, Earth Under Siege is the over arcing title and then you just break it down with Flashpoint for the boardgame and Warzone for the skirmish.
Plus I think we (as a community) run out of words. I just today learned that someone locally is working on a game called “doomed” since 2020 and in 2023 “The doomed” was published by Osprey. There is only so many ways you can combine words to make a title.
