Axia Miniatures are now on MyMiniFactory with a great Tribe offering that introduces some of their stunning figures to your collection, both in a 3D printable format and as physical miniatures. They have a couple of options for you to choose from, including a neat welcome pack!

Panther Knight - Axia

Panther Knight // Axia

We'll start with their Tales of the Old World collection, built of the success of other campaigns set within their Old World that you might have seen on Kickstarter in the past. This is Axia's main Fantasy range that would be perfect when used alongside games from the likes of OnePageRules but also the likes of Mordheim and The Old World. The first miniatures that are kicking things off include the Panther Knight above and the bellowing Orc Raider below.

Orc Raider - Axia

Orc Raider // Axia

Both miniatures look awesome and really fit in with the design style that Axia has for the rest of the Tales of the Old World range. The Panther Knight or Knights of the Panther are some of the most iconic Fantasy knights out there and I like the idea of this one being a bit of a wanderer, especially being on foot and with a pistol in hand.

The Orc Raider is, well, a raider, and would be excellent for slotting into all sorts of games. He's giving off that fearsome bellow as he stares down someone who has a pig that he really, really wants.

Tales of the Trenches

If you'd prefer to go a different direction but still with the Grimdark in mind, you can also look to their section dedicated to Tales of the Trenches and Trench Crusade compatible miniatures.

Heretic Leader - Axia

Heretic Leader // Axia

The miniatures for this first month include the Heretic Leader and one of the Consecrated for you to use as part of your heretical warbands in games of Trench Crusade. They look suitably brutal and twisted, perfect for including as alternative miniatures in your games.

Consecrated One - Axia

You might wonder why there are just a few miniatures per month but I think the answer lies in the fact that these have been designed to be great for use in your skirmish games. You will only need one or two to start making a unique skirmishing force on the tabletop and it also means that there's plenty of room to grow as the Tribe continues. I think it's neat as it means Axia can really focus on what's coming out each month, starting with two figures per set and then expanding to three as time goes by.

Physical Miniatures?

You might also be wondering about the physical miniature, as these are the 3D printable ones. Well, Axia has teamed up with Zealot Miniatures to provide physical miniatures for those without 3D printers. So, how does that work?

  • Subscribe to the tier: the price covers the cost of 2 models per month.
  • Every 3 months of subscription to this tier, you will get a unique coupon code that you can use on the Zealot Miniatures website to get a total of 6 models, plus a 10% discount on the previous releases.
  • Select the models of your choice on the Zealot Miniatures website: either Old World or Trench background, no restrictions!
  • Pay shipping based on your location and wait for the package to arrive!
  • SHIPPING IS EU, UK, and USA-friendly: no customs for supporters in these locations! Shipping prices are around 10€ based on the weight of the package.

Nice and simple and it means that you don't miss out on what Axia is doing just because you don't have a 3D printer.

Welcome Pack

Those who join the Tribe also get access to Axia's Welcome Pack, which gives you a great set of miniatures to get you started.

Welcome Pack // Axia

The set comes with six miniatures, three from Tales of the Old World and three from Tales of the Trenches. This means you'll already be on the way to crafting yourself some fun warbands for your games and get to see what the quality is like of the figures that you'll be getting each month.

This is a great opportunity to support a great creator and get a mixture of miniatures for your wargames at the same time. The more support Axia get, the more miniatures you'll end up getting each month, all in this nice quality that we've seen from previous Kickstarter projects and more.

What do you make of this month's Axia offerings?
