Mycetic Spores are monsterous creatures-shouldn’t they get an extra d6 of pen? As well, when something is in combat with a Vehicle, the attacks always resolve on the rear armor-so shouldn’t the Mycetic Spores have a fighting chance to take out a vehicle-at least to immobilize it?
Let’s take a logical chain…
Tank shock
can’t move = DoG!
Str6 + 2D6 for Monsterous Creature
Average Armour penetration of 13.
That can take out most transports, and isn’t too far of glancing a Landraider.
Just a point – Death or Glory is always resolved against front armour value (even if a close-combat attack is used) Page 69 but being a monstrous creature Str 6 plus 2D6 you have a fair chance of stopping most vehicles! Not as squishy as you think!
Why would you let the non-nid players know that? Now they won’t try to tank shock us!!!
This video was an Epic Fail.
