I don’t think I’ve ever done an escort mission in a game and enjoyed it. Same as no matter how many times you have a tail someone in a game, it’s just not fun.
Starting to feel a little more normal after the 24 hour charity stream. Agreed to do a bonus one this coming weekend as I didn’t get through the third Mass Effect game and chat insists I can’t just leave them hanging there. Already raised £650 so another 12 hour stream to push that higher makes a lot of sense… or so I keep telling myself!
Managed to get some base colours down on the Judges but a combination of the sculpts being not great and my brain still not having recovered from the 24 hour stream mean there was no fun in it at all. On the plus side I got a sweet little delivery from Kallistra, more dwarves and a bag of Confederates as I start to look into next year’s big project.

You think so? Maybe it’s just because I grew up on the comics but Judges should always have bright green 🙂 They’ve not had a wash put on them yet so it will dull a little
Oh I love the bright green.
I though I had a project with my judges but it seems like I only have a record on instagram on them.

Edit: oh I do have… in my 2019 paintathon project.
Nice, they look really good. Have you played the game? I thought about going with the blue uniform but decided to stick with black to make all the colours pop. Don’t know they’ll ever get taken out of the cabinet once they are done but it gets me tantalizingly close to everything owned pre-2021 being painted
Thanks. Never got around to play it and never even had time to read the rules properly…
Mmmmmmmmmm Mega City One and the Dark Judges. Sweet!
@crazyredcoat ‘follow X’ aren’t that bad … just boring, unless they turn into escort missions and you have to defend them from enemies.
The Witcher 3 had a neat trick where your horse automatically matches speed with the NPC.
Or at least … that was supposed to be the idea as it didn’t always appear to work, but that could be me hitting the ‘wrong’ button or the game not registering I had pressed the right button.

So judges should be black and not blue ?
I was not sure how I should do them meself, because the artwork on the boxes by Warlord kind of suggests that they could be both.
= black with dark blue as a highlight
= dark blue with black as shadow …
Not sure which is easier to paint and which one looks better.
The shoulderpads being either Yellow or Gold is a similar thing, but at least there you can decide between movie realism (gold) and cartoon (yellow).
I got distracted before I could decide … so it’s on my backlog of projects I want to do.
Maybe I’ll use this as an excuse to those croc monsters and robots ?
Damn … now I am distracted from my current idea.
