Sun Tze Returns + New Expansion Options For Infinity Players

Corvus Belli has been previewing more of the miniatures coming out to support their Sci-Fi skirmish game, Infinity, in July. We have a notable return alongside loads of expansion options for some of the factions that have been under the spotlight recently.

Sun Tze // Infinity

Sun Tze arrives to support Yu Jing. As much an act of publicity and morale boosting as it is one for military gain, the return and recreation of Sun Tze comes complete with a background in the schools of strategy from within the heart of Yu Jing. He now brings a keen military mind to the battlefields of the future with a sharp mind, enhanced digitally so that he can imagine and devise hundreds of battle plans in an instant.

The miniature in the set comes with a Vulkan Shotgun, although you can go with a Thunderbolt if you prefer. He is a solid tactical choice and a good Lieutenant for anyone seeking to boost the effectiveness of Yu Jing.

Expansion Packs

As well as Sun Tze for Yu Jing, the Next Wave and Combined Army/Shasvastii get themselves some reinforcements to help those collectors who have picked those new armies during the most recent expansions to the Infinity lore.

Next Wave Expansion Pack Beta // Infinity

This Next Wave set comes with one Tekdraken: Blackheart with Contender, one Gearhead with Vulkan Shotgun, and one Wraith-1 with MULTI Marksman Rifle. It's great to see another of the Tekdragon miniatures for Next Wave and the insanity of the Gearhead. I absolutely love that miniature. It's so incredibly anime.

Weilding their influence more than ever, the Shasvastii and Combined Army also get this Expeditionary Force.

Shasvastii Expansion Pack Delta // Infinity

This set contains one Agent Dukash with a MULTI Rifle, one Speculo Killer with a Boarding Shotgun, and one Shasvastii Noctifer with a Missile Launcher. I do like the nod to Hellboy with the Noctifer. Very cool. As Corvus Belli mentioned about this set, it comes with some very unpleasant surprises for your opponents.

Essentials Army Packs

Lastly, we also have two Essentials Army Packs for Infinity covering the forces of ALEPH and Nomads that were part of the recent Mazebreaker release.

Essentials - ALEPH Action Pack // Infinity

These sets give you a good way to expand the options that you found within the Mazebreaker set, offering up a mixture of good starting options for someone focusing on ALEPH or Nomads as their faction of choice.

The ALEPH set comes with one Thorakites with Submachine Gun, one Agêma Markman with MULTI Sniper Rifle, one Apsaras with Submachine Gun, one Thyreos with Submachine Gun, one Hoplite with HMG, one Arjuna with Boarding Shotgun, and one Kiranbot with E/Marat.

On the Nomads side of things...

Essentials - Nomad Action Pack // Infinity

...one Hellcat with Boarding Shotgun, one Intruder with HMG, one Grenzer with Combi Rifle, two Morlocks, one Sin-Eater with HMG, and one Mary Problems, the Hacker Special Character. Each of the sets also comes with all of the statistics cards for each of the miniatures and a weapons chart. This means that it's a perfect starting point for someone wanting to play one of these factions and focus on learning the basics of the game.
